Robotex 2024 World Robotics Competition , Tallinn, Estonia

The STEM Robotics Academy student team successfully participated in the global Robotex competition, held in Tallinn, Estonia, from December 6-8, 2024. Over 500 students from 150 teams from 25 countries participated in the competition.

Our students, Drakotos Odysseas, Katsamakas Giorgos and Fotiadis Giannis, competed in the SUMO 3kg category, while students Goumatianos Angelos and Goumatianou Katerina competed in the Line Follow category.

Our team managed to stand out, with students Goumatianou Angelos and Goumatianou Katerina winning 3rd place in the Line Follow category for ages 14-18!

Participation in Robotex 2024 became a reality after our team qualified through the Panhellenic Robotex Robotics Competition, where both teams won second place in their category. The competition was a unique experience, where students put their knowledge and teamwork to the test, developing innovative solutions and highlighting the potential of Greek robotics.
